torque arm sugestions please
I have a 2000 camaro 4l60 car with 400hp at the tires. What's the best way to go?Short or long? Don't really like the short because of clearence issues i have QTP headers an y pipe but i want the car to hook so i really don't care.
It's a street car that does see the drag strip but not much.I allso spray this car from time to time.right now it's my daily driver.I WANT TRACTION! THANKS

full length and relocate it off the tailshaft
the way it was explained to me is that the floorboards were not designed for torque arm loads and that three point sfc's are a must if you are to run a short arm

Hello,
Like many have mentioned I too would recommend a full length torque arm and a relocation kit. This set up would be very street friendly but at the same time work excellent at the track and for traction. The short torque arms work very well too but since your car won't see the track much and will see more street use I don't recommend it for your application. I posted the links below to the items I would recommend.

Also thanks for the pictures merv!
