Default C6 rotors

Will stock c6 rotors work on my car?!? Also if so, what else would I need for this swap?

No, they are not a direct swap.

Base C6 rotors are 12.8". Stock LS1 F-body rotors are 11.8". Therefore, the rotor will not fit under the caliper.

In order to correct this, you can order adapter brackets from various sponsors which allow you to use C6 rotors, and even C6 calipers if you like.

Base C6 2005
Front are 13" and rears are 12"
I can confirm this but, will they bolt-on?

HHHMMM just bought a pair of rear cross-drill rotors for my WS6 and the rears are exactly the same size as my C6 Rears...

I know that C6 had gone though some changes I know for sure the base (calipers/rotors) had change on the BASE C6 LS3 model.

Well, if they dont bolt-on then make them fit...simple.

Sounds like a good way to go. If you have 18" (or larger) wheels, the Z51 package is even better. Someone just made a thread in this section, complete front Z51 swap. Came out very nice.

yeah, the caliper is HUGE! The Case C6's are smaller, and a direct bolt in for out LS1's. the difference is the C5/C6 using a bigger rotor, hence the need for brackets.

The Z51 calipers are actually the same size as the C5/C6 calipers...

The difference is in the rotors...perhaps that it what you meant

In order to run the Z51 setup, you will need Z51 rotors, C5/C6 knuckle adaptor brackets, C5/C6 calipers, and Z51 caliper brackets. And of course 18" or larger wheels.
