Strange front dragshock?

Strange front dragshock? Just picked up a set of single adjustable front drag shocks.My ? is do these shocks springs mount into the stock location?or do they use the cap that it comes with that sits on top of the spring of course tthe shocks came with no instructions

No cup. Is the car apart yet? The spring should sit nicely in the stock location, just turn the spring so it fits like stock... it will make more sense when you get everything apart and start mocking things up. Let me know if you need more help.

Well I called up strange and found out I do need to use the top spring perch that they provide,Because my shock is a coilover design and is a shorter spring 14 inch long.Just wish they would have provided some istructions with the shocks oh well
