Default I need advice on replacing my shocks/struts on 99 Camaro

Hi guys,

I need to change out my front and rear shocks on my 99 camaro. She's mostly sat in the garage for the last 5 years and now its time to do some general maintenance. The car was lowered by the previous owner so I only need to replace the shocks. Can you guys recommend a good strut/shock combo? I called everyone from Autozone to my local speed shop and I'm getting all kinds of answers. I could just go with some Gabriels or Monroe's but I'm willing to spend a litle more money for the right shock.

Either Bilsteins or Koni's. You can get the adjustable Koni's 4/4's or the non adjustable 4/3's

I sell both Koni's and Bilsteins. What are you looking to do with the car? What springs are on it? How much was it lowered?

If you are interested, PM or E-Mail me (mleaf@zenithmotorsports.com) and I can help you decide on a shock that will best suit all your needs and I will get you pricing.

Koni's are a great option, but somebody who says "adjustable Koni's 4/4's or the non adjustable 4/3's" doesn't know what they're talking about.

The Koni 4/4 and 4/3 are all adjustable.

Both sets use the same front shocks.

4/4 rear shocks are on-car adjustable, and have an infinite range of settings between full soft and full firm.

4/3 rear shocks need to be removed to be adjusted, and have only 4 settings to choose from.

Get them from Sam Strano.
