Cool eibach pro kit?

i got a question.

i just bought a pro kit for my formula. i already have LCA's, relo brackets, SFC's and a non adjustable panhard bar. all umi. i also got a set of rear kyb adjustable shocks.

my question is do i need to repalce my front shocks/struts, whatever they are called when i install the springs? and do i need to upgrade my p/h bar to a adjustable one?

the car is street only.

Do you NEED to replace your front struts? honest answer: NO

But would it be recommended? YES

Now what kind depends on what you're looking for, drag racing or better handling on the street?

I've got a pro kit, and the LCA angle is horrible. Get relocation brackets. I'll be putting some on my car tomorrow actually. Also ditching the Pro Kit for my old Hotchkis springs once I get a good set of shocks to go on.

And by the way, do you actually know what WS9 really means?

Ok, just making sure you knew it was nothing special.. All V8's have it.

FWIW, my rear suspension is completely stock at the moment (until the end of the week ), but my rear-end sits pretty much perfectly centered, stock PHB. My old 97 with Sportlines sat to one side a bunch. I'd definitely have shocks put on them, while the struts are off, and you never have to worry about pulling them off and doing it again down the road. With the Pro Kit, the already old worn out shocks are gonna wear out even more and faster.

I'm going to be going with the KYB's soon. My friend had the KYB Gas-A-Just on his formula, and I love its ride. I'll probably be getting this or the AGX. Be careful asking that question around here, you'll get 100+ people popping out telling you KONIS OR DIE. When $1000 shocks are not necessary for a daily driver/cruiser/street car. There a lot of good shocks that will provide a more comfortable ride than stock for cheaper.

Now I await my flaming because I did not solicit Koni's..

I have to say I agree with you on the Koni's part(specially on a hard working family man's budget)!

I <3 Koni's

Not for everyone, but I love the handling they provide. Also, FWIW they are $750, not 1000. I daily drive my car in the summer and IMO that makes it even more worth it! I want good ride and handling in the car that I drive all the time. Is 300+ rwhp necessary for a street car / cruiser? Definitely not but nearly everyone on this site has that or more. People on here want performance, unfortunately the best is usually not the cheapest. Koni is still a good value IMO though, I have a lot of friends who put coil overs on their cars and drop $2k+. Koni also comes with lifetime warranty.

Make no mistake they are better than the other options you suggested - its all about how much money you want to spend. I would probably get SLP bilsteins as a second choice, KYB AGX as a third. Gas-a-just should not even be on the radar for use with lowering springs. Its completely OK to suggest other options, no two people's goals and budgets are exactly the same; just try to be up front about it. People get flamed because they say things like "AGX are as good as Koni" and that is simply not true.....

IMO they are one of the best mods I did to my car. Do a search and you will find many who agree.

He meant the 4/3s are 750 at http://www.stranoparts.com/

The 4/4s are 850 with Strano.

Both are sale prices.
