Default benifits of a panhard bar

hey guys, is it really worth forking out $100 for a quality panhard bar? it seems like it would be a wise decision to upgrade this part if you were building a strong suspension. i plan on buying a set of tubular lower control arms with poly bushings to replace the stock equipment also and figured this would be a good part to buy also.

If going to bigger tires, it's good to have an adjustable panhard bar. If not, then a beefier aftermarket one is jsut that, beefier.

If you're going to install lca's with poly bushings on both ends then it doesn't matter what you do with your panhard bar because you've already ruined the handling of the car. Is this a drag only car ?

Poly bushings have less compliance and may bind
at high travel difference L-R. Rubber bunges more,
rod ends rotate freely. Most seem to favor at
least one end being non-poly to extend the bind-free
range of motion.

A beefier Panhard might reduce some rear end squirm
in corners (if you notice any). For a casual or straight-
line driver the benefits are slim. Needing adjustability
for a lowered, fat-tire car is another story.
