Control arm questions...
Im look to start upgrading my suspension and Im stuck on this, Tubular vs Boxed...
Boxed allows you to stiffen the rear and use factory style rear sway bar but not adjustable.
Tubular allows you to adjust the rearend but will require you to run a aftermarket sway bar which is more money along with this style.
I plan to get adj panhard bar, UMI springs, Control arms, sway bars and maybe torque arm. Just hung up on this part. Thanks guys...

Where have you seen that boxed control arms affect the sway bar? I've never seen a problem with this. Boxed is generally stronger than tubular, but anything you buy will most definitely be stronger than stock. If you want to save some money, you could weld some plate steel to the stockers to achieve the same effect, but then you'd be in the same boat as stock with regard to the bushings.

controls arm having nothing to do with the sway bar, just pick the one that is the cheapest. If you are looking for improved handling pick up the poly/rod (or poly/roto-joint) UMI LCAs.

well looking at the pics and seeing the boxed ones drill on the sides... I just assumed there like the Gbodys that the rear sway bar mounts to the inside of the lower control arms.

First thing your should do before you buy anything is get under your car and become familiar with each and every suspension piece, etc. Also, do a lot of research before you buy anything so you don't end up buying something you'll need to upgrade/change later.

Correct!!! We offer tubular control arms and have not had any issues what so ever when it comes to strength issues. They feature a .120 wall tubing and a 2 piece Energy Suspension bushing that is grease able. Below is a link to show you what all UMI Performance has to offer!

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Thanks

Make sure to plan out your whole suspension and set it up for the kind of driving you'll be doing. If you make it a patchwork of random parts it may end up doing nothing well. If you want a drag car, plan and build it for that, if you want a street car then plan and build that. If you spend a few hours on this forum and on suspension companies' websites you'll get a real good feel of how you want to go.
