KYB AGX strut question
I am currently in the process of installing new KYB AGX struts on my 99 Trans Am. I am having problems however with the mount to the lower control arm. The way the shocks came means that if it is not turned that the adjustable **** will face the engine. I put it in a vise and was worried if I pushed any harder it would break the bushing inside. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to turn? Here is a picture I found on the forum that shows the way I would like it to be facing and mine is the complete opposite. Thanks

yes. i have a set and they are meant to face inward...this may seem counter intuitive but thats how theyre set up and to adjust them all u need to do is lift the car...the wheels dont even have to be removed.

Hey, that's my pic!
As you can see by my markings on the shock, I was also confused as to which side to mount them. I don't have to remove the wheel or lift the car to adjust it, I just turn the wheel full lock and it's easy to reach. The fronts are actually easier to get to than the rears. You can't see the numbers very well but I just memorize the last setting and go from there.

Wrong
I just put mine in and the tab is inward. The current way it is set in the pic is wrong. There is a passenger side and a Driver side. Driver side is marked G on the box.
