I saw no difference in lap times with and without an STB.

Just like poly bushings, an STB is marketing hype.

Mitch,

As I am the resident pain in your ***, I have to ask a legitimate question. Did you see gains in your lap times after putting on your SFC's? You got me thinking.....

Just wondering.....

STB at the strip just adds extra weight on the nose of the car. Usually not a good thing.

Drag racers make one lap and rebuild it
Road racers make 100s of laps and drive it on the trailer when done.

Drag racers try to get from Point A to Point B as fast as possible.

Road racers just drive in a circle to end up exactly where they started

See, you've all got it wrong.

Road racers drag race between corners. I guess we always race "from a roll".

Damn Kevin, you took my next response.

Drag racers race from point A to point B
Road racers race from point A to point B, turn, then race from point B to point A.

Isn't that a loose quote from Mark Donahue? Didn't he also say that when he can spin the tires all the way down the longest straight, that will be enough power?

I have a t-shirt with that quote on it. I'll have to check it out.

Drag racers spend their whole lives trying to shave tenths off seconds.
Road Racers spend their whole lives trying to shave seconds off minutes.

Teenagers spend their whole trying to shave (thought I'd just throw that one in for free)

Drag racers spend seconds on the throttle and minutes coasting
Road racers spend minutes on the throttle and NEVER coast.
