Default rear brake differences in 93-97 and 98-02?

I am shopping for new rear brakes for my 01 SS and have noticed a huge price jump in kits between 93-98 fbodys and 98-02 fbodys. the difference in kits is mainly caliper choice, the LS1 kits having larger calipers than the LT1 kits. What are the differences in the rear brake setup between the two cars? I know the ebrake setup is different, but would the kits be interchangeable? as far as i can tell, wilwoods kit for the 93-98 kits come complete with the ebrake bracket witch also mounts the caliper, would this kit work, or is there a way to convert the car to this type of ebrake setup?

93-98 wilwood setup:

The backing plates for the parking brake & caliper mounting are different as well.
You would have to swap those out to run LT1 style calipers.
