Hey guys,

I just got done with my c5 brake upgrade on my 94 Firebird and am wondering what width spacer I'll need to make the wheels clear? There is currently a 46mm offset but I don't know what offset I'd need to make it work. Could I get away with a 1/4" spacer? I'm wanting a spacer that is hub-centric so as to avoid vibrations and for safety reasons. Would a 1/2" spacer be too much and would I have to roll the fender a bit?

do u have the rims already? if so best way is test fit the rims and measure.

Definitely thinner than 1/2" . . . that would require new studs . . . I've seen it in person, so I'd guess 1/4" to 5/16" . . . Not sure if they "reshaped" the back of the spokes too . . .

I have 2.5" ARP wheel studs so I'm not entirely too concerned with that; I just want to get it right without having wheel clearance issues either at the caliper or at the fender. The problem I'm running into is that I can't find a hub-centric spacer that is ~5/16" or 7/16" .. it's either 1/4" or 1/2"

I have a 7/16" spacer now that is not hub centric and it is on there and clears just fine, but I get vibration at higher speeds and it is driving me nuts plus it absolutely is NOT safe.
