The brackets Sam had issues with were thinner steel brackets with a grease fitting hole. We stress analyzed these brackets in our design software and there are many areas of this bracket that would fail before where the grease fitting hole is. Now the analyzed failure was under a extreme load, basically we keep applying pressure to areas until stress signs are shown.

So to make a long story short, yes these will hold up to competition

These are different than what I don't like to use. In fact I will be carrying these UMI pieces (it'll take me a little time to get them up on my website, so please ask if you looking for them until that time).

In fact I've been using something very much like this on the Mustangs for 4 years now.

Question

Does that mean you will swap these mounts in standard for your signature sway bars now?

I can supply these mounts, but they are not standard at this time. If someone were to buy bars, then I can apply a discount toward the UMI mounts. But my bars come with the standard hardware (packaged that way, and part of the price). You still need endlinks which are part of the standard hardware kit.

They look nice, would be a good upgrade for non-greaseable flimsy steel mounts.

Thank you,

I'll be getting Sam's sway bar set soon so these will make a great buy as well. Would we be able to get black bushings instead of the red?

Unfortunately at this time we only have them with the red bushings. Sorry about that.

At this time just red. The hardest part about offering two colors with bushings is we have to double inventory and it gets expensive, basically all sizes in wo different color bushings. So right now we will be sticking with the red.

Sorry about that

I would like to know the same thing. The stock mounts don't look like they take abuse at all.

The stock ones break with big swaybars + sticky tires.
