Talking UMI New Product Release- Heavy Duty Billet Sway Bar Mounts

UMI Performance Inc.

Heavy Duty Billet Aluminum Sway Bar Mounts
Starting at: 89.99/set

These heavy duty sway bar mounts from UMI are CNC machined from beautiful T6-6061 billet aluminum and are nicely sanded with a clear finish to prevent corrosion. Large sway bars place a lot of stress on their mounting points and mounting brackets causing them to flex, bend or even break. These heavy duty aluminum mounts are a new replacement for the stamped steel mounts supplied with most aftermarket sway bars. The UMI brackets are supplied with new greaseable polyurethane bushings and grease fittings. Not only do these brackets reduce flex they offer a great touch to the underneath of your vehicle. Price is per set, one set needed for one sway bar.

Sizes available- 7/8" (22mm), 1" (25mm), 1-1/4" (32mm), 1-3/8" (35mm)

These would be a great match with BlaineFab's reinforced sway bar brackets.

These will just be supplied with a clear anodized finish. This way they maintain the aluminum look while being protected.

If you purchase the 1-3/8" (35mm) #0048 and the 7/8" (22mm) #0045 these will work with both the Strano bars and UMI bars.

Thanks!

just purchased a set for my front 35mm bar! Figured I'd replace the brackets since one of them was exposed to some battery acid when my Delco battery went.

Question: I have Strano sway bars with his bushings & brackets, will the UMI brackets fit over his poly bushings so I dont have to replace them with UMI's and if not is there a price just for the brackets minus the bushings? That way I dont have to take it all a part.

Shockwave,
It's funny you mention the Blaine fab swaybar mounts. I have the exact same units on my car and I just called UMI yesterday to ask about this exact product for my 35/22 strano setup. I'm going to order a set of these on their next sale and try them out.

it looks like the bushings are cut at an angle at the corners to accept the aluminum bracket. I'm sure you can do that with the bushings you have if they are willing to discount them.

Like mentioned our brackets are machined for our bushings and I know Strano's bushings are different, so you need our brackets and bushings. These are also greaseable and the bushings with Strano bars are not, so this is another nice feature of this item.

Hope that helps!

The OD and shape of the Strano bushings are slightly different than ours.. this is why our bracket must be used with our bushings. Same ID when you buy the 35mm and 22mm sets and they will fit with Strano bars with no issues.

Hope that helps,
Ryan

Strano mentioned he had some grease-able sway brackets break, which is why he does not use them -- are these going to hold up in competition? Just curious. Granted these seem beefier than the standard faire.
