Well during the front end getting rebuilt it has been reveled that the passenger side wheel hub is on its way out. So now the question who do I choose for a replacement part?
SKF $177 (Who is SKF? Never heard of them.
)
National is listed at $160
Timken is listed at $124
What is up with the price difference? Does it really matter? Opinions? Cheaper elsewhere?

Good stuff, the Timken it is going to be then. I know National is Federal Mogul stuff. I knew these two are the big names so I figured I'd be alright.
I'm still laughing at SKF though. I have never heard of them, they are the most expensive, but now there is an ad for them here on this page. Whoa Google!

Keep in mind that retail price is not necessarily an indicator in quality or durability. Volume plays a big part, too. If a big parts dealer sells more Timkens than SKFs, Timken will give them a price cut, which they pass on to us.

BTW - SKF is a Sweedish company. Maybe if you write them, they will send you an outfit like the guy on this cover? http://investors.skf.com/files/press/skf/SKF09_en.pdf
