Default Springs Question: 78 Caprice

I'm about to replace the springs all around on my 78 2 door Caprice. I have 2 options:

a) find 94-96 Impala SS springs that are stock (they are interchangeable with 77-96). This will give my car about a 2 inch drop, but they are more expensive.

b) get stock springs, which from what I've found are much cheaper, and then have them cut to the desired drop I want.

any recommendations or reasons to go one way or the other?

Thanks
Brandon

I would put the 94-96 springs on them with the best shocks you can find.
