I got mine from GMparts direct. The ones I got are of a white rubber material.

I used the set off an 89 RS Camaro I was parting out... swapped perfect to my 98. Just a suggestion if your looking to save a few bucks...

We just had this discussion where Sam chimed in -- that the spacers should be removed with stock bumpstops for more travel on SSs and that the Z28 bumpstops were more desirable due to the material...

Good to know about the spacers. I'm going to pick up some poly's and now I know not to re-install the spacers.

Can anyone tell me why the SS and WS6 models used the aluminum spacer? Were the stops shorter on those models?

Yeah, they had blunt/squared off bumpstops compared to the typical z28 triangular ones.

The SS/WS6 bumpers with spacers are the same overall height as the Z28 bumper. The SS bumpers alone are shorter, but stiffer compared to the Z28 stops.

I got the jeep one for $18 for my 2002 trans am .they are perfect if you remove the lip from the spacers.I save $100.

I used a set off of a junk third gen I have... OEM rubber and bolted up with no issues. Probably a $5 item at a boneyard.

Poly vs Rubber/Foam ?
Hard vs Soft?
with vs without spacer?

I think I destroyed mine do to soft lowering springs. I need to find some that are affordable. Not sure about anyone else but I from time to time have passengers! lol Takes no weight to bottom out. Any sugjestions? Also I thought I had saw a pic of this bump stop replacement? Anyone still have it?
