Default F-body V6 vs. V8 rear springs...

Is there a difference between the V6 and V8 rear springs on an f-body?

I think the 98-02 versions are identical.. not positive. Got info from here: http://www.angelfire.com/my/fastcar/suspension.html

93-97 versions appear to be different.

It depends on the year. 98+ use the same rear spring for V8's and V6's.

93-97 V6 springs
223 lbs/in front
95 lbs/in

98-02 V6 springs
257 lbs/in front
114 lbs/in rear

98-02 V8 springs
292 lbs/in front
114 lbs/in rear
