Yeah it would be awesome to be able to have the benefits of lowering the car, ie: ride height and lower cog, better spring rate without having the disadvantages of a shorter spring.

Everything you said is correct, but wouldn't it be nice to go a little softer on the spring and be able to use a little extra cushion at the end of the travel?

Now bottoming out the rears? That's a different story.

No it is going to alter roll center just like lowering springs will as the front suspension pivot points are not being altered from stock using this arm.
