Default No brake pressure with stainless steal lines!

Installed a set of stainless steal lines on my 99 SS I did bleed all the lines and before starting the car had a firm brake pedal. Once I started the car the pedal went down to the floor and barely had any pressure. Is my booster or master cylinder bad?

As sjs said, I would keep bleeding them. You said you had good pedal before you started so there should be no reason to think your master went while you were putting new lines in. That's highly unlikely. If the only change you made were the new lines, then getting rid of any air in the system is the most likely problem.

And don't forget to go in order of the farthest to closest to the Master Cylinder. It should be Pass Rear, Driver Rear, Pass Front, Driver front. In that order and do it at least twice all the way around to get all the air out.
Good luck.

I'm glad to hear it's fixed. I'm sure it stops even better now.
When I put my steel lines in, I noticed the difference right away.

Congrats....
