Is it too difficult install Torque arm for DIY'er
I have some experience installing suspension and chassis mods i.e. springs,LCA's etc. Never messed with a Torque arm before. Is it too difficult to do at home? Should I have a shop do the install?

Hell no you don't need a shop to do it!
Assuming you have the appropriate tools (e.g. a good ratchet/socket set, torque wrench, floor jack and jack stands) you can do it just fine.
Jack up and support the vehicle on jackstands - preferably by the rear subframes. Put a floor jack under the rear diff. and raise slightly to support the weight. Loosen/remove the front mount (a split bracket with rubber bushings) and then remove the rear bolts mounting to the differential housing. Install is the reverse. PM me if you need torque specs.

Just did it yesterday, although I did it a bunch of times in my 93 as well. I got a edelbrock TA for a little added stability and a good price. Came with an ES mount and fit perfect. Is even cuved a bit easier to install than the stock one!
Only tip is you have to let the rear end hang to get the rear bolts off. All the tranny bolts are 15mm and the big rears are 21mm I believe. You also might want to soak the rears in penetrating oil overnight.
