Default How to set Konis on the lower perch?

I have the koni SA shocks installed on my car now, and they are on the upper perch. I want to move them to the lower perch. But i do not want to remove and dissassemble the spring/shock. Could anyone explain the process on the car? TIA

I think that's possible. I actually talked to Sam a while back about that, and he said that he's never tried it but he thought if you could compress the spring enough it'd work.

Yeah I guess, if you can get your spring compressor in there.

The shock/spring assembly is so simple to remove. I don't see any reason to wrestle around in the wheel well when you can pop it in and out.

This absolutely can be done. I put my koni/stranos on the upper perch. However, depending on the compressors, it gets a little hairy bc there is not enough room put them 180* apart on the spring. I suppose it's a bit dangerous...

It might be possible. I don't think in the end the extra hassle of trying to compress the spring on the car would be worth it. If you could get the spring compressed enough on car to get the spring cup up high enough to relocate the perch it would be possible... I just think in the end it would in fact be easier to take the spring / shock off the car. It is only a few more bolts and probably a lot less headache.
