My front tires are wears on the outside edge pretty bad. What could this be from?

Sounds like too much positive camber.

I know how to fix the alignment issue, but how do i know if there is too much positive camber?

Check outer tie rod ends. My car was just doing this.

That would be the (or part of the) alignment issue. Camber is how the tire tilts to the left and right if you were looking at it straight on from the front (think the top being further out than the bottom)....this causes the car to put most of it's weight on the outer edges while driving, causing your tires to wear down faster in one area than the other.

Also, im having some electrical problems. My lights seems to fluctuate brightness. it happens to my gauges, inside lights, and outside lights. Could my alternator be going bad?

that problem is most likely too much + toe setting, I suggest about +1/16 toe setting.
toe and under inflation are the common problems causing wear

I had the same issue and an alternator replacement remedied the light pulsating.
