Default aftermarket torque arm and brake dive...

Will an aftermarket torque arm noticably reduce brake dive?

Yeah, brake dive is soft front springs and high
center of gravity (forward weight transfer and
spring compression). The torque arm has no
authority at all over this.

Dropped suspensions are usually higher spring
rate and reduce CG height.

Where it does matter is in brake hop. A funky
short arm that is a launch monster might put you
into that if the instant center is pushed too far
off from original. If drag torque on the rear makes
it lift strong then you might lose some rear braking
traction.

Any stock-mounted, or near-stock fore-aft front
mount located TA shouldn't affect things other
than with added robustness.

Get some springs and sway bars, and you're brake dive will be nearly non existant

How do sway bars help reduce brake dive?

My sway bar freely pivots when both the left and right suspension compresses.

As Jimmyblue mentioned, it's not necessarily the lowering springs that reduce the dive, it's just that they are normally a much higher rate.

You get a bonus from either (CG drop or
stiffer spring rate) but usually both come
with lowering springs.
