Default V6 Camaro vs Ls1 Camaro brakes

I was wondering if the brakes from the a V6 camaro are the same as an ls1 camaro .

Yes. Many 93-97 owners call it the 'LS1' brake upgrade, but it's really the 98+ upgrade. All 98+ fbodies used the same front brakes. I would assume the rears were the same on V6 & V8's but not certain.

thanks man Im putting together a 68 camaro and found a 2001 v6 in the boneyard and can get the brakes set up for dirt, I know they sell a kit to convert your old drums to disk with a little machine work,do you know who sell the kit ??

I converted my old '95 Camaro 3.4L rear brakes to disc from drum with a 98+ set -- hated those drums... I got my kit from Jeff @ TransAm Creations out of FL -- he sells kits and is a knowledgeable guy -- nice to deal with.
