Default subframe connectors

Ok so i have a 02 ws6 and i bought some granatelli subframe connectors and i was wondering whats the proper way of welding them on, because from what ive read theyres alot of controversy on what kind of lift you use to weld them

I'd have them done only on a drive on lift so you know the frame is as straight as possible before welding.

as long as the weight of the car is on the suspension you will be fine.

I actually built some blocks out of 2x4s and 2x10s that I can stack up. I jack the car up and put them under all the tires and let the car sit on them. I have enough to lift the car a level 16 inches total. Its also great to use when working under the car.

So i have to definetly get them welded on a loaded lift, im having a real hard time finding a welder with a loaded lift, does anybody on here stay in southern cali. In the san fernando valley area and know of a place that can get this done ?

You want them welded in when the suspension is holding the car's weight. Exhaust shops and any alignment shop will have the type of lift you need for this.

Ive been to 4 exhaust shops and none of them have the lift i need they all have the lifetime with the 4 arms that lift the car and let the wheels hang

too bad you dont live closer i can weld those in. just tell the exhaust shop to put it up on plastic ramps to load the suspension then weld from underneath.

Sell them and buy some UMI 3-point bolt ins.

Don't remember off hand. Decently priced though. Are the one's you have 2 point or 3? 3 is the only way to go. Nice thing about the bolt ins too, is you can always weld them in if you so choose to.

UMI runs sales all the time. I picked mine up for cheaper then this price.
