Who likes their iRotors?
I have had my iRotors on for about 3000 mi. They perform fine, no fading or warping but they look like crap now. I got them in zinc because I wanted the hub and surround to stay shiny. I knew the swept area of the pad would fade and turn black. But the hub is already rusting and looks very dull. The zinc looked a little dull brand new. I've seen the Eradispeeds so I know what good zinc plating should look like. One out of the three I bought looked halfway decent on some parts of it also. I still can't complain for the money I paid for them, only $150 more than stockers from AutoZone. I would do it again, I'm just inquirng as to how everyone else's looks. I'm actually responsible for getting them to be a sponser. I started the first "GP" on them when they weren't a sponser and the thread was closed. The next week they were on the list to the right.

What have you been cleaning your wheels with???
If you've been using ANY chemical, even Simple Green, will destroy any kind of plating on rotors, especially if they get sprayed when hot.
For example, my KVR CAD plated rotors look(ed) great, never used and kind of chemical, my friend religeously used Simple Green and the CAD plating on his rotors turned to $hit.

Yep, harsh cleaners will take their toll on coated rotors. Did you use any harsh wheel cleaners? My iRotors look great after about 4K miles, only show wear where the pads touch.

I just got a new pair of rear Sure Stop's (cross drilled and slotted) to match my front Eradispeeds (rear Eradispeeds are all cracked to **** from burnouts at the track w/out line lock). I took them out of the box, scuffed the cad plating, used some acetone, and then painted them with a nice thick coat of POR-15. I bet they will last forever and look shiny always. I used to just use regular black paint on my Vette rotors and they would last for a couple of years. No plating will last long if you use the brakes, and I for one like using Simple Green, and I know it didn't hurt the black paint on my other rotors. I will do the front Eradispeeds when I get time with the POR-15 to match.
