Me being the buddy with the same vibration, I can vouch that it is definitely a driveline vibration and not a tire/wheel vibe that we are experiencing. I have been through 3 different driveshafts and adjusted pinion angle according to every method I could find with no success. I have been battling this vibration for years now, and came to the conclusion it was the nature of the 9". Even after installing a 1" longer driveshaft which was recommended to me for the 9" I still had vibrations over 90mph. However he is experiencing the same problem with a dana 60 which has a different pinion location so now I am lost. I am tempted to put a 10bolt back in along with stock suspension just so I can enjoy my car over 100mph. Any input would be appreciated.

my car has been over 170mph, and I just did the Mojave Mile and went 167mph...

My car has no vibrations and isnt radically different from stock.

I have a BMR torque arm (pinion angle set THE CORRECT WAY)
PST 4" aluminum driveshaft
edelbrock shocks
original factory ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings..
all energy suspension bushings

lots of other stuff obviosly but nothing that would affect vibrations

Can you please please explain the correct way to set pinion angle? Weve both had it with the vibrations.....it takes all the fun out of driving the car

i had this same exact problem! couldnt figure it out, replaced the drive shaft because i thought it was a balance issue. what it came down to was i lowered the car (front more then the rear) and i guess it changed the stock pinion angle causing the vibration. went with a bmr adjustable TA and had a shop fix the angle this time and the vibration is now gone. i was getting the vibration around 75. if i down shifted the vibration wouldnt be as bad but if i was in gear and let off the throttle it would vibrate NASTY!!!!
hope this helps

I am in the exact same boat right now with a dana 60. It started when I took the TA and put it in the bottom hole on the pivot arm on the mount. I took the measurement at the driveshaft near the Trans (0) and so then I set the pinion to -2. Thought I had it fixed, but it is still vibrating like crazy at 55. I attribute the vibration to moving the TA to the bottom hole. I used to have it in the 2 hole from the top.
