Anybody swap lt1 rear brakes l to r and mount in front like ls1?

Default Anybody swap lt1 rear brakes l to r and mount in front like ls1?

looks like you could loosen the LT1 rear backing plates and pivot them to the front, then switch R and L rear calipers leaving the bleeders up?

Looks like this would be easily done, esp when considering narrowing rearend on LT1. That is unless the 4 bolts on the retaining/backing plate is keyed somehow.

Any thoughts?

The holes wont line up. The bottom 2 are closer together than the top 2. You should be able to swap them from one side to the other and get the result you want.

I am thinking about doing the same or just buying LS1 brackets/brakes for the rear b/c I just ordered a Burkhart Fab 9" rear, narrowed 4inches and found out the stock brakes will interfere with the panhard rod mount which I could fix but I am waiting to get the rear next week. LMK Thanks Clint
