Default Fabricating brake lines?

If I was going to put a line lock on a vehicle that does not have a bolt-on kit available, how would I go about bending/cutting brake line to install it? I want to put my line lock on a 2004 Silverado. Any ideas? I would like it tucked out of the way, if possible. I have ideas on where to put it, just not sure where to get, or how to make brake lines to work with it. Thanks!

You'd need a tubing bender, flare tool, vice, sheers to cut the stainless braided tubing, just off of the top of my head that's what you'd need. There's more.

How hard is this type of work? Should I attempt it myself or take it to a reputable shop? I have never done brake work, but have done motor work, suspension, transmission, etc.

Its not bad, but I would just buy the premade line kit for the line lock. IF your set on doing it yourself, just get some line and some decent tools (cheap double flare tools dont work)take your time and practice your flares.

This is for a truck, do you know of any kits with pre-bent lines?

Don't know of any pre-bent kits, but like ta12sec said, it's not bad / hard to do it yourself. A file, countersink, and drill bit (same size as brake like I.D.) will be needed also so you can deburr the lines before you flare them. It's easy- do a google and I'm sure you'll find tons of write-ups on how to flare lines. DIY and save $$, plus then you have the tools for next time.
