Weights: Watts Link vs Stock Panhard Bar
Replaced my stock panhard bar and brace with a Fays2 Watts link. Thought others may be interested in the weights of each. Pictures attached for clarification if needed.
Stock Panhard Bar (PHB) (included for those who are replacing the stock PHB with an aftermarket): 5.4lbs
Stock Panhard Bar, Brace and drivers side hardware that attaches PHB to rear axle (This is effectively what is replaced by the Watts Link): 10.18lbs
Watts Link with all necessary hardware including sway bar spacers: 29.43lbs
Watts Link with all necessary hardware except sway bar spacers: 28.80lbs

Our Watts link is made from chromemoly for sure. It is by far the lightest setup out there and is fully adjustable. I'm not sure of the exactweight off the top of my head, but I guarantee you its way less than 29 pounds, and has exhaust clearance like no other track locator can. I will get some weights on it and post up when I get a chance.

IIRC, about half the weight of the Fays2 Watts link setup was the hardware, specifically the HD rod ends and axle clamps! Weight is weight for sure. The Aurora rod ends were heavy on their own as well and the bolts - wow!. If the clamps were made from something lighter (if possible) that would make a difference, but the bracket itself, although stout, didn't seem to be too heavy on its' own. Its' strength lies in the truss type braces, not in its' mass. Maybe chromoly there? I must note, the weight of the individual componants was satifying in that the stuff that needs to be strong is made from strong (albeit heavy) quality componants. I wonder how much mass could be pared without sacrificing strength/durability? Is chromoly stronger than steel? Doesn't something made of that have to be made thicker to match the strength of steel? It would still be lighter, though, just bigger guage.

Looking forward to your weight picture... Is your WL compatible with stock 4th Gen rear-ends? Could be just me, but I can't see how you will sell many WL's when you don't even list or picture them on your Products page...
Pictures please!

Lol, I don't think they are having any trouble getting business, hence 3 month lead times. I think they have about as much business as they can handle. Any more business and there will be 6,7,8 month leads. They have said time and time again that they are a small shop and thats how they keep cost down and quality up.
