Default Recommend me a good shock/strut

I've been running a set of Eibach Prokit springs & Bilstien HD shocks on my T/A for over 7 years now. It's time for a new set... The same springs are about to be ordered and I'm considering changing to a different shock. I've been pleased w/ my current ones, but am looking for a better riding shock and willing to pay more money this go 'round.

Thoughts/ideas/suggestions?

Or are Bilstien HD's still one of the best options?

And the car is just a street car... rarely ever goes to the track or races.

I have Koni 3rd gens on the back of my Formula with stock springs, set on full soft, and they still ride damn hard.

Can't say I like them very much. I was expecting this big night and day change, but I was very unimpressed. Granted most of the bouncing is gone, and the rear feels a bit more planted on curves, but it still rides like *****.

I'm thinking it's impossible to find a shock for these cars that actually rides nice.

As I stated in the other post, most find the ride to be hugely improved, hugely. That said, I do think that the bouncing being gone, and the rear being more planted are pretty big improvements. Are you sure they are set full soft, because about 15 times a year someone does it backwards. And as I mentioned elsewhere also, if your tire pressures are too high that's not good.
