Eibach Lowering Springs
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EIB-4-7038/
I don't plan to race it, I plan to drive it on the street and take it to shows.
What shocks would you recommend?
I want to put some different wheels on to. I was thinking 18x10.5-11"s (rear)
and 18x9.5"s (front)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Brian
Welcome Brian,
Those are Eibach Sportlines. They look great but are super low and are too soft so people tend to bottom out alot when running those. I happen to like them because the other springs offered by alot of companies don't go low enough in my opinion. Strano springs offer the best performance from what I've read on here and Koni shocks are wicked but pricey. Anyways check out this thread for starters.

However, I have a set of eibach rear springs, $60 shipped, pm me if interested.

bmr, eibach, hotchkis, strano, slp... they have a ton of different ones, and are all quality pieces..
still . They ride very nicely , never bottom out , never sagged , never a damn issue .
I am running a 315 rear tire on an 18" wheel and dont have any rubbing issues
whatsoever . Im starting to wonder if Eibach changed their quality of wire in the
last few years because they used to be "the" spring company to go with . Now theres
nothing but complaints . But I can personally vouch for all the Eibach sets of Pro
Kits and Sportlines I have put on Fbodies . I have yet to have used an Eibach spring
produced in the last 5 years so maybe the fault line with quality lies somewhere
around there .
I want to get some OE chrome deep dish C6 Zo6 wheels. 18x9.5" F w/ 275-40-18" and 18x10.5" R w/295-35-18"
I still need to figure out the "offsets" to make them fit properly.

I was looking at this kit:http://www.byunspeed.com/product_inf...ducts_id=18144 I have a question regarding the rear shocks. It says the rears are only adjustable "off" the car. Is this a real issue?
Is there a setting that most people use that you don't have to pull them back off?
For a little more I could buy this kit: http://www.byunspeed.com/product_inf...ducts_id=18145 Which one would you buy?

I could not be happier but again watch the speed bumps.
