Not pleased with quality of Spohn SFC's!

Not pleased with quality of Spohn SFC's! The ones I ordered are the mild steel tubular. Although the passenger side connecter looks to fit fine; I just got the car up on the lift and the drivers side connector does not fit at all! The tube part hits my floor pan so I would have to beat it up about 3/4in to get the plate to hit flush. However, even if I did that the plate looks to be welded on about an inch too far back. .
At most, if I bent the **** out of it upward I could get one bead across the leading edge but it wouldnt even tack up to the frame portion of the car. I still would have to weld it to the foor pan. I am going to call them Monday when they are open to talk to them about sending them back for a refund. Most people say that they have good customer service, but If they make me pay for shiping im goning to be pissed. I think Im going with Hotchkis this time.
I also have some Dual Rod LCA's coming, lord I hope those work and the quality and fittment are better.

It looks like 6' of 2" steel tubing, some 4x2 channel and a little bit of 2x4 angle iron to me.
A little grinding to round the corners and a nice TIG weld .... viola!
