I am working on a 2000 Trans Am convertible. Title says it, pic shows it:

What you are looking at is the upper shock mount for the rear shocks. Its in a different location in convertibles than in coupes/t-tops. How am I supposed to get a torque wrench in that space? Is it even possible?

On my shocks there was a little flat at the top that
an open-end wrench or 'grips (I prefer 'grips) can hold.
If you don't have one, you could grind one. Better than
smegging the threads on install and leaving it to bugger
the next swap.
