You might also scan for ABS codes, but I'd expect the Low Trac light to come on if the ABS is activated and the ABS light to come on if ABS codes are set.

Has anyone had a normally operating car trigger the ABS without the Low Trac light coming on? I wonder if it could be a traction control issue? I ordered my car without it but would also expect the Low Trac light would come on for that.

I have no traction control I turned it off with the programmer so I don't think the low track light would come on. I am thinking of getting rid of the abs I haven't had abs on any of my vans and bikes and no crashes fingers crossed. But the abs runs through your parking brake and if you take it out your parking brake light stays on and here in Germany that would fail the inspection

If you unplug an ABS sensor, you can rule out ABS. i would also check the tires, not only the balance but the wear pattern. Sometimes worn tires from bad shocks can be a major headache.

Scanning for ABS/TCS codes might be a good start then.

I am having pretty much the same problem with my car. I attributed it too me having the engine/k member out of the car and not having someone with a tech II bleed it.

The snap on Modis and many other higher end scanners will pull ABS stuff. I had my wifes 05' Avy on the Modis the other day and the **** you can do on it is re donka liss.
