Default Adjusting koni's to stop wheel hop with s60

I have a s60 with koni DA's, 4.30 gear, m6 and am having a problem with wheelhop. I started with them set up at 6 comp, 1/4 turn rebound. Which was no good, bad hop. Moved up to 8 comp and 1/2 turn rebound, better but not gone. Which adjustment is going to help me more, the rebound or compression? It is starting to get to the point where it is almost too stiff. Also could old tires be causing the problem? Thanks

Ryan

What are all your other suspension mods you have done for the car? I would hope you have more suspension on the car than just Koni shocks.

Compression is the setting that controls unsprung weight. The axle is all unsprung weight, and a lot of it. Rebound is used to control sprung weight and if you have any issue there, you haven't mentioned it.

Old tires, cold tires, etc. certainly make wheelhop worse. Bad traction makes for much easier wheelspin and you need wheelspin to get wheelhop. I just bought a Z06 to autocross, it's on DEAD rear tires. It will blow them off in 3rd gear. And it's got way more wheelhop than any other Corvette I've ever driven (usually they have none to very little).

The "perfect" suspension can't deal with tires that just can't hold any power.

Thanks Sam. I will try swapping on a set of wheels and tires from another one of my cars to see if that helps.

BMR- I would just say everything in terms of suspension. I have a bmr long style TA with tunnel mount relocation bracket. PHB, LCA's, LCA relocation brackets in the lowest hole. Stock ride height, 1le springs, Dual airbags in the springs to compensate for a large stereo. 6lbs left bag 12lbs right bag. SFC's. The only thing I don't have is a drag bar. I think that is everything

Any input is appreciated. Thanks
