Default Strano Springs and Koni Shocks - Do I Need LCAs?

So b/c the car is lowered, do I need new lower control arms? And if so, do that also mean I need relocation brackets as well? I'm good with engine stuff, but suspension is def not my thing. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hey Xtreme57. Are you street handling, drag racing or autocrossing?

Post 2 about sums it up. I never ran brackets or aftermarket arms (not legal for the class I raced with the car, but also no need either).

i just added strano springs, bilstein shocks, and founders performance lca's and relocation brackets this weekend. I noticed a huge difference in traction. I got very bad wheel hop before the suspension upgrades. When i hammer second i can feel the tires hook much better now.

Currently just street driving in four season northeast weather. I just want to maximize traction, but if I don't really need them then I don't want to fix what isn't broken.

Hey 98. Subframe connectors help street, strip, autocross and in-general. LCA's and panhard upgrades are a good 2nd step as are springs and anti-roll bars. Complete systems from a reputable manufacturer such as UMI can help you achieve the balance you are looking for. LCA lowering brackets are used to correct lowered cars arm angles or for strip use. As Sam says, you might not need the brackets if you aren't lowered or launching.

Let us know how we can help.
