Default Hub bearing assembly

hey guys, just wondering what you guys think of this hub bearing assembly.

www.primechoiceautoparts.com

or if in canada

www.primechoiceautoparts.ca

The hub and bearing is only 52.00 CAD or 44.00 US. Being that I'm in Canada, it's the cheapest option available. I've checked out rock auto, but i'm looking at pricey shipping. prime choice seems to have free shipping on orders 50$ or more - in US or Canada

Part #: HB613092

Well, I already ordered them so guess i'll be the ginea pig on this one.. lol 100 bucks shipped to my door, good price. Speedy shipping too, got a tracking number 1/2 hour after I placed my order. Description on these also said "meets or exceeds OEM" gotta be better then my stock, 13 year old hubs anyway... Guess we'll see..

Might be the exact same as the rest anyway, I know a lot are, just branded different

Kinda hard to comment when the link only takes you to a parts store home page...

"meets or exceeds OEM" is just marketing BS. The original parts always meet or exceed the OEM specs, otherwise they couldn't be on the car, right? If you are paying that much for a hub assembly, there is no way it will last as long as the originals. Car companies usually don't skimp on bearings... If you got 13 years out of the originals, that's a wonderful result!

The bearing is the one and only part holding the

That's really cheap, not sure how those will hold up. But seeing as you've already ordered those, I'll just ask here instead of making a new thread.

I'm gonna order from RockAuto soon and I've been looking at the Timken hubs. Those are quality hubs right?

Yes. Timken makes OEM parts for most manufacturers and heavy duty hubs/bearings for large equipment, etc. They and SKF are top brands.

I just replaced both front bearing hubs....my factory stock ones were almost 14 years old. Absolutely nothing wrong with them, I've just been doing tons of preventative maintenance. I bought Fenco hubs. Lifetime warranty....so I figured what the hell.

No way they are better than AC Delco "used" hubs though.....

I;m wishing I just spent the extra money on new AC Delco.....there's some parts where it pays to buy the best stuff.
