Default Alignment with boxed LCA's?

Is there anything to be aligned for the boxed Hotchkis LCA's I just put on?

I'm figuring not because they are boxed and non adjustable?

Also I have the heater hose mod on the rear, should I see much improvement with the boxed Hotchkis LCA's?

Thanks

For 99% of the cars out there with only those mods, an alignment isnt needed

Depending on how agressive you drive, you may notice less wheel hop and tires may/may not spin as easily

So even with just the hose mod on the rear, getting the relo brackets too would obviously make it a better mod right

Depending on what you're looking for with the car, the relocations can be very beneficial. In certain applications, they can be unnecessary. The fact is that it increases the control arm angle which helps with positive anti-squat. Running at the dragstrip, this can make for a huge improvement. I them on my Camaro SS and one of my Trans Ams and they made a huge improvement for me at the strip and on the street.

Thanks BMR do you think I would have any issues with my boxed Hotchkis LCA's and your relo brackets fitting since the LCA's are not adjustable? Was really tight for them even on the stock brackets

Hey Megatron.

We all tend to design our control arms to fit in the factory location with respect to length from point to point and also mount width. A properly manufactured arm will fit into a properly manufactured LCA relocation bracket. Also, the mounting holes on our brackets follow the arc that a factory length trailing arm follows - which means factory arms will bolt right in as well as most (or all) aftermarkets.

Ramey is correct, if they fit in the OE bracket they will fit in our relocation bracket as well. We also have a boxed lower control arm (since 1996) that is made from 1.5" x 3" boxed tubing. If I am not mistaken, this is the same dimensions as the Hotchkis arms so there should be no issues whatsoever.

Nice. Thanks guys. Whoever responds first lol I'll grab a set of bolt in LCA relo's when the weather improves to go with the LCA's I just threw in.

ALSO, think a panhardt rod is necessary for my car with just the hose mod? Haven't really experienced any swaying of the rear though

Heater hose mod only will move your lateral location about 1/16 give or take.

If you can live with the ever-so-slight lateral difference the LCRB's will help and be budget friendly.
