Default SFC's

Im in the process of shopping for some SFC's and was wondering if you guys had any recommendations on what brand/style? Also, is there a noticable difference between weld on and bolt on? Thanks alot all!

Get the weld in type only IMO, they're much better when done properly.
As for which ones, BMRs are popular but any good weld in will be better than none at all. I prefer the straight 2 point ones over the triangulated DDs (double diamonds) personally.

If anyone knows which are the lightest SFCs (obviously NOT the SLP or KB DDs or similar) I'd be curious to know that as well.

I've got the BMR tubular sfc's. They're very nice and don't sacrafice any ground clearance.

If installed correctly bolt-on's work just fine, either SLP or Don Goetz would be a good choice. BTW, this would be better off in the Handling & Braking section.

I put SLP bolt ons on my can and it was huge difference in how the car felt. It feels like one solid piece now

I put in the KBDD's on my vert SS, and the difference was night and day. But, for a T-top or hard top car, I don't think you'd need the diamonds (although they would be stiffer).
Either way, I'd have a shop you trust weld them on. I never liked the idea of bolt-on SFC's.

Anybody make a set? The thought has crossed my mind about making some like the BMR ones.
