Thanks to BRD-PREY for giving me the idea. I just did it upside down.
Offroad Jeep bump stops from Trailmaster. I mounted them to the chassis and capped the spring perch. The stock isolator and springs still fit which was a requirement for me.

It was surprising, but I measured several times and I have a larger gap than the stock setup. The car is sitting on the suspension (jack under rear) in that picture. If you look at the gap between the axle tube and exhaust you'll see the bump stop has just slightly less of a gap. The car is also sitting much lower than stock.
