I had my car worked on and apparantly they lost the actuation rod for my pasenger side parking brake cylinder. Anyone know an easy way to get a replacement one of these?

I had to go to a U-Pull-It salvage yard and get mine. I had to go for the same reason as you.

Has the dealer discontinued this part or do you have to buy the whole assembly just to get pin? I know I have seen pins at good hardware stores. You might try Ace Hardware or a good Mom and Pop hardware store in your area. Get the right diameter and you can always cut it back to correct length. If nothing else buy a long bolt that is correct diameter and cut head of bolt off and threads of bolt off and make your own pin that way.
After all Necessity it the Mother of all Inventions.

dealership requires you to buy the whole backing plate assy. Go to a salvage yard. They are easy to get to.

Try looking here. They have a lot of hard to find parts. I ordered a clip for my seat from them a while back.

I ended up making my own using a quarter inch drill bit. Works like a champ.
