Car looks great, and the wheels look killer. Props to you for paying almost as much for wheels as you likely did for the car.

LOL, but since I bought the car new in 2001 and it still has 14,000 miles on it, not quite!

Thanks for the compliment.

Please remember he did TWO things here, not just lower perch but *also* the "hose mod" which lowered the back along with the lower perch on the front. Each is about 1/2" change from "stock", as in stock height spring perch in front, and with the isolator in the rear.

What I'm saying is that this car would sit raked about like this if he were to put the isolator back and put the perch back up to the top position, just about 1/2" higher.

the Koni's have two grooves in them that a large c-clip sits in to support the spring perch. Top is supposedly stock height, bottom is lower by about a 1/2"

I run my stranos/konis on the lower perch and it rides good. I run my 3 turns from full soft.

So i did the hh mod but it doesnt nearly look as low as yours does. What size wheels are yours dws6? Mine are 18s maybe thats why i have a bigger gap from the tire to the car.

Spahny72,
They are 19" Forgeline SC3C

SpinsB,
No issues, why would Sam shy away from lower perch?

was told the shock could bottom out causing it to fail. Not to get side tracked but what width are you rear wheels and what size rubber?
