Default Panhard bushings

This should be a simple one. How much play should there be between the panhard bushings and the bolts? Are they supposed to be a little snug or fairly sloppy? Mine look like the sleeve is intact, but there's a lot of slop; I could probably stick 6-7 toothpicks through when the bolt is in.

put it this way, if you can wobble the rod around easily inside the bushing is most likely shot. especially if they are still the stock rubber ones..But its a cheap and easy fix

I can definitely wobble it. They are stock, 150k+ miles, but the rubber seems remarkably fine and the sleeves aren't spread out, that's why I asked.

Err, wait, by "rod" you mean bolt, not sleeve, right?

The factory panhard rod has little nubs in the sleeve that reduces the inner part of the sleeve down to the bolt size. You may see a gap but most likely the nubs are against the bolt.

No nubs for me, guess that explains the slop and explains why it "looks" good. Thanx
