popping sound in reverse

popping sound in reverse So I bought some grippier tires last night and car hooks a lot better now, but this morning when I was reversing out of driveway it was making this popping noise, my gut guess is u joints..., if it is how safe is it to drive right now cause I don't get paid for couple days...

Could be the u-joints. Get under the car and try to turn the driveshaft. If it moves and especially makes a clunking noise, their shot. If they are screwed, I would not drive it.
