Shocks and Springs So, im trying to decide what i want.
My car is a DD with bolt ons. It will see prostar 15x4 and 15x10s and 26" DRs
I want to get a better ride quality than stock but also be drag and street friendly.
As for stance...ehh looks are good and all but i prefer ride quality and handling
So i was think the following...
1-strano/koni package
2-strano/qa1 package
3-strano/ koni sa front qa1 sa rear (or visa versa)
4-strano/bilstein hd package
5-volgant/strano
6-volga t/bilstein hd
7-idk what im even talking about

My vote would be for the koni/strano setup. You may lose a little bit off of your '60 compared the the qa1's or strange shocks, but the ride quality and handling will be substantially better than the other two.

Bilstein shocks and stock springs. Lowering springs will hurt ride quality, always, and hurt your weight transfer at the drag strip. If you don't place high value on lowered ride height, and handling, stay with the stock springs.
The Bilstein shocks are widely considered the best shock compromise for cost, ride, and handling.

Im located near evansville.
I havent heard much aboht bmr. How is the ride quality. I have heard of replacing thise ws6 rear springs with firebird springs since it helps weight transfer.
Anyone running konis with bmr?

You won't need to worry much about ride and handling with your wheel and tire setup to begin with. Why not just take a short drive over to Afco in Boonville and see Eric Saffell there... He will get you setup with the right springs and shocks for what you need.
