need info on agx shocks
ok so i got agx adj shocks in my 01 camaro, they were on my car wen i bought it and i want to know how to adjust them. like is 8 the stiffer and 1 the softer or the other way around. Also should i have my shocks stiffer in the back? im trying to set them up for street, so my ride wont be so harsh.

When i had them on my old car, I had 5 on the front and 3 on the reads. Next time you are needing shock get better shocks. I can't believe how much better the bilsteins are over the agx's.

In previous correspondence with KYB (I can't find the email at the moment) they mentioned the AGX's are 5% softer than stock on setting 1, setting 2 is "stock" and 3 through 8 are incremental up to 123% stiffer than "stock".
Without a damping curve from a damper dynamometer it's difficult to quantify what is "stock" and of course different cars had different dampers on them throughout the years, but this should give you a general idea of what to expect.

I've only got them on the front of my car with the stupid white gas-adjust in the rear. Fronts are set at 4 currently and may go up to 5 real soon. 3 all the way around might be, sorry, will be too soft in the front. I gotta get the adjustable rears.

rite now i got them at 5 all around, is still kinda to rough, i fell every bump on the road and my suspension has no play, so stiff that wen i pull in a steep drive way side ways so not to scrap the front end my rear well lifts up and does a three wheel motion lol, i may try 3 all the way around to see how i like it. and for track ill set them up at 7 in the front and 5 rear so i can get a good launch.

Mine's my daily as well. And the roads here in California, not exactly fun either. I won't run mine the same all the way around. You'll probably find that if you drop the rear a couple clicks lower than the front, you may find a slightly better ride.
