Default Bump steer? Anyone else get that?

My car has 275s up front and 315s out back and my car is all over the place if the road is uneven just a bit. You always have to have two hands at all time on the wheel and it will dart side to side at times. I have to get the car aligned, but i don't think that's going to be it. I want the car to be much more stable. Car is stock except for a pan rod bar.

The alignment may help depending on the wear on your front tires. After replacing unevenly worn GForce Sports and an alignment, my car tracks much better. However, wide tires tend to follow uneven roads even when perfectly aligned and new.

Bump-steer is defined as the steering effect induced by the tie rod sweeping out a different arc than the lower a-arm (i.e. by not being parallel to it and the same length as it) as the wheel rises (bump)...

what you're getting is not what bump-steer is.

You have either a poor alignment (toe out) and/or worn out bushings.

Most people refer to that as tramlining, and yes I had a very bad case of it on my car. I had some old BFGs up front and the alignment was off. Once I replaced the BFGs with a new set of Nitto NT555s and got an alignment, it is no longer a problem. Both the BFGs and the Nittos were 275/40R17s.

Not using an offset close to factory and wide tires will cause this as well. I get it a bit with my 18x10's but not my 17x9's. Same offset.
