Where the coil winding stops at top i cut straight across spring from that. The cut off piece should make a c lol. Then slid hose back on spring and back in car

Lol ya I was guna ask if half a coil would be a C... Thought that would sound silly. Guess not.. Ok I might give this a try. I would cut the bumpstop tho. We use those more than we think.

For the people in this thread with new springs, did you do the heater hose mod with the new springs?

Hose mod on old stock springs. Hose mod is for cheap people like me who want the look for free.

I would think doing hose mod on lowering springs would set it to low in rear. Maybe not?

Speaking of which...what kind of issues can I expect with a set of BMR springs on the rear and 315's on 17 x 11 wheels? I get no rubbing at all now...and I've already removed the bump stops. (have to build something there some day)

Whats the purpose of the heater hose? to give it some padding. I ve seen it used with eibach pro kit. but usually with the pro kit... it seems the *** end of the car always sits lower already.

The hose keeps it from ratteling when the stock isolater is removed.
