Does UMI tq arm reloc. bracket + adj tq arm have to = awful ride?

The threads for the ta mount bushing are easily stripped so I just put nuts on the four bolts. I still have road noise but no clunking at all.

Interesting read, because I'm wanting to get a torque arm relocation crossmember for my UMI adjustable torque arm to prevent clunking. I want to remove the torque arm from the transmission to help alleviate trans movement under the car. (I've been through the whole motor/trans poly mount thing, don't mention it)
